PayPal Here - Point of Sale App Reviews

While this has worked well for me in the past, EVERY card I tried to run yesterday was rejected. At first I thought it was the card, but after it kept happening it was clear that the problem was PayPal. I lost a lot of business yesterday. More than disappointed!!

Excellent, easy to use credit or cash payment application. Ive used the swiped unit successfully as well. Even has a calculator integrated for tallying product sales, built in Sales Tax and even a discount option. Great application! Well done PayPal!

Not impressed with so far, keep getting a invalid region error will have to see what kind off support I get in resolving this error

While PayPal is international, PayPal Here ONLY offers service in USA. I dont know why this app is available for sale in Canadian ITunes Store, when it can ONLY be used by US residents and the services are not available in Canada. Waste of time downloading it.

This is my second time writing this review. Every time I try login in to PayPal here for the past month, I receive a message saying the server is down. I contacted PayPal and I was suppose to receive a follow up with a solution, 2weeks and 5 emails later , I still not heard any word. This is unreliable because PayPal here app is the only way you can process a card transaction. Now my customers cant be charged and I cant run my business. You would think PayPal will have this fixed!

PayPal wont even let me use this service, for some reason, my business has been permanently marked as ineligible for Paypal Here.... Its not porn, weapons, or anything controversial/illegal. I am just a simple web designer, trying to make accepting payments easy for my clients. Thanks PayPal, for making life difficult. Square picked up your slack. You just lost a LONG term customer.

Clear, simple and quick. Love their customer service and ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. No red tape or hassle. EXTREMELY secure!!!!

Im tired of always tying in my password. Why cant you take advantage of the Touch I.D. feature on iPhones?

Love this application and service.

Not every app is going to work for everyone or what we hoped it would be. You always have good and bad reviews. This PayPal app has served me well and I have appreciated. I only wish the upgrade for the chip reader was not so expensive. For some of us $100 to $150 its quite a bit of money. That is one big drawback for me and Square has come in and helped out in that area.

I have used PayPal here for over 2 years and I mostly LOVE it. Great device (chip reader) and system in general, but I would love to see it have these options in settings: -Change password to access account for fingerprint scanner easy access with apple devices; -Give an option of tip/other potions on screen only or pad only; right now you never know which one will appear; -have an option of 2 devices being able to pair up instantly like iPhone and iPad; currently, if it is connected to iPad and you need to switch to phone you have to do "forget device" and do the whole thing again! Otherwise, best card processing system ***It doesnt work with government issues credit cards***

PayPal Mobile is great for trade show conventions! Much easier to use than lugging around a computer terminal. The best is for easy use by other PayPal customers!

As a direct sales/show vendor, this is a fantastic way to be able add inventory, choose inventory for a sale, and complete the transaction. This works beautifully!

Great app, love almost everything about it. Needs to have a discount button of some sort. Freezes up on rare occasions. Other than that its fantastic
